The Flower House is a non-retail Mother/ Daughter Wedding and Event florists located in the heart of Livermore Valley Wine Country, that serves couples across Northern California. With each new wedding they create for, this team of professionals combines a contemporary approach with their extensive industry experience. Balancing a hands-on style of design advising, they strive to maintain a focus on translating each couple’s style into the final results.

I get asked all the time, how did you get into the flower business? Well, as a business major and in the corporate world for several years I was bored. I needed a creative outlet, a desire to own my own business and I have always gravitated towards weddings.

I became a wedding planner and enjoyed creating Romantic Moments for couples for several years. I was working with a couple with the Flower House and the owner asked if I knew anyone that would be a great assistant to her? I joined the company in May of 2005 and by October of 2005 I was the new owner of The Flower House. I believe it was Divine Intervention. I am not a florist that loves organic material, that is earthy, smelling and appreciating every single bloom - I am a creator of wedding dreams. I love helping couples pulling ideas together, finding their style and focused on making something for them. My question is always “what do you want your guests to feel”. This is why you will see many different feelings and styles of florals on our page and social media. We match the flowers to you.

In 2018, my daughter Michaela has joined the team full time. As Michaela grew up in the wedding industry, knowing the venues, vendors and seeing all the joy and beauty from our brides she decided to follow her passion of creativity with flowers. She is the one that appreciates every bloom and we spend all day laughing, designing and pushing each other to make each wedding as perfect as possible.
