Wente Restaurant Wedding

The Flower House had the privilege of desgning flowers for a small, intimate wedding ceremony at the Wente restaurant.

Two gorgeous candleabras were the focal point for guests during the ceremony.  The candleabras presented guests with the visual pleasure of bright greens and deep purple flowers.  Special imported green ranunculus, super green roses, purple lisianthus, and purple tulips were accented by hen and chicks succulents,  bells of Ireland, green hypericomb berries, and purple stock.  The three white candles on top of the candleabras provided even more drama when lit.  The wooded walls in the background provided a blank canvas that allowed the flowers to really show their beauty. Amazing depth and texture were given to the candleabras and provided quite the dramatic focal point.

White tablecloths are the perfect blank canvas for vivid flowers in the table arrangements.  Similar to the candleabras, bright, super green roses and green ranunculus were the vocal point in the center.  The lisianthus and purple stock surround the bright green to provide a beautiful contrast.  The green hypericomb berries and upright purple tulips provide texture and height to the overall arrangement.  The colors come together beautifully and compliment each other great.

The cake table showcased a simple three-tier cake accented with the bright green and purple flowers.  The perfect drama for a stark white cake.  The super green roses made the throw bouquet very unique, a nice break from the standard rose colors.  The hypericomb berries really stand out in giving the cake a finished, but not overly done, perfected feel.  The greens really show through on the cake, with just a few lisiathus and tulips thrown in to give it dimension.  Overall, a gorgeous, simple cake that will take your breath away.

A small, intimate ceremony deserves the same gorgeous flowers as a 500 person wedding. I am sure each and every guest enjoyed such beautiful scenery in the always elegant Wente restaurant.
