The Gorgeous Singletary/Atogwe Wedding

What a treat we have for you today! The Flower House took part of the truly spectacular wedding on Saturday night along with Sugar Rush Events and Hartmann Studios. Together, we created a sparkling scene of modern flowers, lights, and art, perfect for the reception that was held in the modern art museum of Terra Art Gallery.

The guest tables have different size arrangements varying throughout the room.  The tall cylinder glasses had large structured ball arrangements that were beautiful and white.  They freatured rounded hydrangea, white roses, white peonies, delicate orchids, and white lisianthus.  An arrangement like this can seem simple, but really is quite elegant and modern. The arrangments are tight and controlled in order to feel modern and new.  A trio of smaller arrangements were contrasted on different tables. The same whites flowers were used with hydrangea, roses, peonies, lisianthus, and stock in a very rounded and tight arrangement.  The white arrangements match so well with the grey krinkle tablecloths and white compus chairs. Trios of floating candles and tea lights surround the arrangements for a romantic feel.

The cocktail tables have an elegant black cloth and very modern twist on a cocktail centerpiece.  A twisted white calla lilly is layered under a ball of white roses set on the side of the square vase.  It is a very unique arrangement, but beauty and depth can be seen in the modernity of it.  The cocktail tables are staggered with a simple twisted calla or a ball and calla arrangement.

Another modern twist is the groom's boutonniere.  A simple black calla lilly, but given some bling with the rhinestones surronding the middle.

The lounge area also gives off a very modern vibe, which has to be accented with the floral arrangements.  Each mirrored side table has a tall cylindar vase with varying heights of submerged white calla lillies with white led lights submerged the crushed glass on the bottom lends some sparkle to the arrangement. They match great with the mirrored glass, modern white sofas and a super cute black and white picture of the couple above.  The other lounge area shows off black leather couches with fur white pillows and a rounded arrangement on the low cocktail table in between.

The cake should also be noted since it is a gorgeous white four tiered cake surrounded by orchids and roses.  Peonies, roses, and hydrangea cascade from the tiers.  The bride's throw bouquet is placed next to the cake.  It is a smaller arrangement of the brides bouquet which features those same hydrangea, roses, and peonies.  Surrounded by square tea lights, it is very romantic.  Also, take note of that chandelier!  Rhinestones and hanging crystals are accented by bright candles and draw the eye to the cake.

Overall, one of the most gorgeous weddings. The decor and flowers were kept clean and simple, but still took your breath away.  The grey and white work together very well and with the colorful paintings all around the room, a pop of color is seen.  The decor and flowers accent the paintings and do not take away from their own space.

There will be more pictures coming soon!
