Simplistic Romance at The Palm Event Center

This beautiful wedding was held at two locations. The traditional ceremony was held at the Saint Ignatius Church in San Francisco, California. For the reception, we moved over to the Palm Event Center located in Pleasanton, California. Our bridge envisioned a simple wedding, that still overwhelmed you with the feeling of romance. For her bouquet, we arranged a clean and controlled arrangement that had no greenery, using whites and super blush pink florals. The bridesmaids bouquets were similar to the bride’s, however they had added in greenery. The groom’s boutonniere was an off white tea rose with ruscus, while the groomsmen had a blush pink tea rose with ruscus. The centerpieces of the reception were candle lit lanterns surrounded by a fresh eucalyptus garland. Lastly, at the sweetheart table, we placed two cocktail arrangements as well as a vase to hold the bride’s bouquet.

A Lavish Affair at Lancaster Estate

Melanie and Kevin’s lavish affair at Lancaster Estate couldn’t have been more perfectly tailored to them – and we are thrilled to have been a part of it, along with Verite Photography and Sugar Rush Events! Melanie wanted something that was traditional yet modern and unique. What resulted was an elegant bouquet with traditional whites and creams using tea roses, stock and hydrangeas with hints of purple lisianthus.  We went darker for the bridesmaids bouquets with shades of lavenders to eggplants, to play off of their pretty pewter dresses! We set the groom apart with a modern double white calla boutonniere – while the groomsmen had a single purple calla that complimented the darker bouquets of the bridesmaids.

The backdrop for this couples “I Do’s” couldn’t have been more picturesque! The rustic setting called for long and tall espresso brown boxes down the aisle filled with a beautifully rich and textured arrangement of lavenders and eggplants placed on top. This created a dramatic walkway while preserving the view up front at the altar.

After the ceremony, the reception moved to Lancaster Estate’s caves for dinner where pewter linens covered the tables and purple lighting set the tone for a fun night ahead. The centerpieces were placed in a black footed dish using accents of light and airy lavenders to full and rich eggplants. For the cake we used all purple flowers to create a bit of a modern contrast with the cake.  We can not thank Sugar Rush Events for bringing us along for this fantastic wedding!

All in all the pewters and purples created a magical evening for these two and we couldn’t be happier for them!
