Bohemian Beauty at The Purple Orchid

The Purple Orchid Resort & Spa in Livermore, California is an amazing venue because it has everything you need in one place - a picture-perfect setting with a bed and breakfast! Our bride’s bouquet was a boho style pairing of soft romantic latte roses, peach garden roses, pops of blue thistle, and burgundy dahlias. The bridesmaid bouquets were smaller, simpler versions of the bride's, using the same pairing of flowers. The groom’s boutonniere was a bronze mini cymbidium orchid with an accent of agonis. The centerpieces at the reception were textured arrangements that sat in a luxurious champagne cylinder. These were arranged using the same florals used in the bouquets. At the head table, we laid a 24 foot olive garland that ran down the entire table. We placed the bridal party bouquets into vases and repurposed them to decorate the head table. Lastly, we finished off the wedding by placing fresh bridal blooms onto the wedding cake.

Indian Wedding at Wente

We absolutely loved this stunning Indian Wedding at Wente Vineyards in Livermore, CA.  This wedding day in early August was full of both Indian and western tradition. Starting with the Indian ceremony held on the lawn under the stunning pink chiffon Mandap, completely decorated with blush pink, white, green, and hot pink, flowers including hydrangea, roses, spray roses, stock, lilies, and orchids. Strands of orchid garland draped down from the center and finished off with glass crystals. The five foot hanging Indian elephant was made from 30 bunches of hot pink spray roses, and looked elegant and sophisticated hanging from the center of the Mandap. The beginning of the aisle was adorned with with ivory pedestals holding hourglass vases with rounded arrangements matching the flowers in the Mandap.

The Western ceremony was rich and bold in burgundy, purple, blue, and lime green with accents of peacock feathers. The aisle was lined with hanging jar arrangements with roses, spray roses, hydrangea and bella donna and covered in hot pink and burgundy rose petals. The bride carried a big and bold hand tied bouquet with burgundy roses, lime green hydrangea and mini cymbidiums, bright blue bella donna, purple lisianthus, purple stock, black calla lilies, and peacock feathers. The bridesmaids carried a smaller version of the brides bouquet, coordinating beautifully with their navy blue dresses. The grooms boutonniere was burgundy tea roses, peacock feather, green berries, and bella donna, while his groomsmen wore hot pink spray roses, peacock feathers, green berries, and blue bella donna.

The fabulous outdoor reception had navy table linens with apple napkins, both tall rounded centerpieces and low lush centerpieces adorned the tables. The arrangements coordinated with the colors and style of the western ceremony with big and bold colors! Beautiful burgundy, hot pink, lime green, and royal blue. The sweetheart table had Napa Valley Paris linen in blush, flanked by the two tall white, blush, and hot pink arrangements for the Indian ceremony. The hot pink cake by Wente catering was covered in burgundy, hot pink, lime green, and royal blue flowers with a pink peony table linen by Napa Valley Linens. The gorgeous photography was by Wedding Documentary.
