Happily Ever After Due North

In Livemore, Calif. this modern bride and groom were married at Murrieta's Well. The bride wanted a soft romantic bouquet using white astilbe, garden roses, white peonies, lisianthks with buds, and maiden hair ferns. Her bridesmaids carried a bouquet with tea roses, lisianthks with buds, ferns, and garden roses. While the flower girl wore a princess crown of white and pink roses. The groom wore a boutonniere using white tea roses and eucalyptus. His groomsmen and ring bearer sported a pink tea rose and eucalyptus boutonniere.

The wedding ceremony had two floral arrangements at the alter, which used white garden roses, white and pink majolica roses, maiden hair ferns, pink astilbe, hydrangea, and seasonal greens.

At the wedding reception, there were six tables number in mossy signs for assigned table seating. In the center of each table sat a short cylinder arrangement lined with green ti leaf. The arrangements continued the pink, white, and green florals but also added in more ferns and dianthus. On the cake rested dianthus, majolica roses, white roses, ferns, and astilbe.

Out with the Roses

This beautiful Wente Vineyard wedding was a great new challenge for The Flower House. This wedding had a special request, no roses. The groom was allergic to all types of roses so The Flower House accepted the fun new challenge!

The bride selected a soft loose bouquet style using a lot of movement using primarily with white flowers and seasonal greens. Within the bouquet the bride has white peonies. hydrangeas, dahlias, peach accent flowers, lisi, eucalyptus, and dusty miller. The bridal party all have smaller versions of the bridal bouquet, which were all hand wrapped in a blue and grey stain with a chiffon finish and pearl pins. While the other important women wore corsages that included gardenias and dusty miller with an ivory ribbon. The groom's boutonniere used white freesias, dusty miller, and seeded eucalyptus.

At the wedding ceremony, the bride and groom were married under an alter, which included eucalyptus garland with floral accents tucked in. Attached to the alter was a large floral piece designed with hydrangeas, peonies, dahlias, and peach accents. On the flanks of the alter stood two wine barrels decorated with matching full, round floral arrangements with a variety of lanterns resting on the ground. Along the aisle are hanging hobnobs with white and green arrangements with hints of peach accents.

During cocktail hour, the bride and groom created a lounge set up with couches and a table decorated with white and green mercury vases, candles, and candlesticks. As guests enjoyed refreshments and appetizers the newlywed couple, wedding party, and family took pictures with Marielle Hayes Photography. Who did a fantastic job at capturing this special day.

Moving to the wedding reception, the couple had selected a long elegant head table. Along the table garland was used as a runner with four large hourglass vases arrangements which included white peonies, hydrangea, olive, eucalyptus, and dusty miller. The tables were covered in a romantic natural brussels colored linen provided by Napa Valley Linens

The tables were decorated with low lush center pieces, which were arranged with full white, peach, blush flowers, and seasonal greens. Tables also included small mercury vases with white and green floral designs to hold the table numbers. The bride and groom added another special touch for their guest, each table setting that a women sat at she was to receive a gift. If you are not familiar with Livermore, California a fun fact to learn is that the evenings can get rather chill as the sun begins to set, therefore the newly married couple provided guests with Pashmina Shawls to help stay warm. The cake table was decorated with olive branches, eucalyptus, and white peonies. As the sun set guests had overhead lighting that draped the entire wedding reception. This elegant feel was created by Classic Party Rentals who provided the lighting.
