Soft Elegance at Las Positas Vineyards

A romantic evening in the Livermore Vineyards. Las Positas Vineyards is a spectacular winery surrounded by beautiful hills, providing a perfect intimate wedding venue. This wedding was soft, elegant, and romantic, with a warm and cozy feel. On the welcome sign, we placed a fresh eucalyptus garland with florals tucked in. Our bride’s bouquet was arranged loosely with a variety of florals to give a textured bouquet style. We used using white and blush pink roses, baby's breath, ranunculas, and dahlias. The bridesmaid bouquets were smaller versions of the bride’s, using all the same florals, in a less dramatic arrangement. At the altar, we had two barrel arrangements consisting of roses, hydrangeas, and dahlias. On the pews, we arranged mason jar arrangements full of soft blush roses and hints of greenery. The centerpieces at the reception were low lush arrangements sitting in a rustic wood box. These were made using hydrangeas and silver dollar leaves. On the sweetheart table, we placed a long and low arrangements with greenery dripping over the front of the table.

Pastel Love Story

This romantic pastel wedding was held on the terrace lawn at Wente Vineyards in Livermore, CA.  Wine barrels with low lush arrangements of hydrangea and roses welcomed the guests to the ceremony with blush, lavender, and white rose petals elegantly scattered the aisle. The altar was adorned with a burst of hydrangea, stock, roses, tea roses, larkspur and greenery.

The lovely bride carried an understated pastel bouquet of hydrangea, roses, stock, tea roses and fragrant phlox. The groom wore a simple white tea rose boutonniere with a touch of seeded eucalyptus and mini pit. The darling flower girl looked perfectly adorable as she carried a lavender hydrangea pomander down the aisle. The bridesmaids soft flowing lavender dresses looked splendid with bouquets of white, blush, and lavender.

The evening was ideal for this outdoor reception, soft lavender linens from Napa Valley Linens draped the guest tables. Gold Chiavari chairs and gold chargers from Classic Party Rentals added glamor and elegance. The floral centerpieces, arranged in square glass containers had white hydrangea, white stock, with pops of lavender and blush roses. The entire event was flawless from start to finish.

Out with the Roses

This beautiful Wente Vineyard wedding was a great new challenge for The Flower House. This wedding had a special request, no roses. The groom was allergic to all types of roses so The Flower House accepted the fun new challenge!

The bride selected a soft loose bouquet style using a lot of movement using primarily with white flowers and seasonal greens. Within the bouquet the bride has white peonies. hydrangeas, dahlias, peach accent flowers, lisi, eucalyptus, and dusty miller. The bridal party all have smaller versions of the bridal bouquet, which were all hand wrapped in a blue and grey stain with a chiffon finish and pearl pins. While the other important women wore corsages that included gardenias and dusty miller with an ivory ribbon. The groom's boutonniere used white freesias, dusty miller, and seeded eucalyptus.

At the wedding ceremony, the bride and groom were married under an alter, which included eucalyptus garland with floral accents tucked in. Attached to the alter was a large floral piece designed with hydrangeas, peonies, dahlias, and peach accents. On the flanks of the alter stood two wine barrels decorated with matching full, round floral arrangements with a variety of lanterns resting on the ground. Along the aisle are hanging hobnobs with white and green arrangements with hints of peach accents.

During cocktail hour, the bride and groom created a lounge set up with couches and a table decorated with white and green mercury vases, candles, and candlesticks. As guests enjoyed refreshments and appetizers the newlywed couple, wedding party, and family took pictures with Marielle Hayes Photography. Who did a fantastic job at capturing this special day.

Moving to the wedding reception, the couple had selected a long elegant head table. Along the table garland was used as a runner with four large hourglass vases arrangements which included white peonies, hydrangea, olive, eucalyptus, and dusty miller. The tables were covered in a romantic natural brussels colored linen provided by Napa Valley Linens

The tables were decorated with low lush center pieces, which were arranged with full white, peach, blush flowers, and seasonal greens. Tables also included small mercury vases with white and green floral designs to hold the table numbers. The bride and groom added another special touch for their guest, each table setting that a women sat at she was to receive a gift. If you are not familiar with Livermore, California a fun fact to learn is that the evenings can get rather chill as the sun begins to set, therefore the newly married couple provided guests with Pashmina Shawls to help stay warm. The cake table was decorated with olive branches, eucalyptus, and white peonies. As the sun set guests had overhead lighting that draped the entire wedding reception. This elegant feel was created by Classic Party Rentals who provided the lighting.
