Alli and Greg had their wedding at Casa Real. One of our favorite things about Casa Real is the way that they have many different areas, which you can utilize for a special day. You can have your ceremony in the Amber Room, the cocktail hour out in the garden, there is a huge entry hall which you can place a guestbook table or gift table, and then there is of course the beautiful Grand Salon which can be created into every brides dream reception area. Alli and Greg had a beautiful color pallet of orange and used similar colored flowers in each area to pull every space together. Tulips, Dahlias, Stock, Callas, and Roses, made this is a spectacular wedding.
This is a classic photo of Greg posing with Alli’s bouquet. A bride’s bouquet is probably the most photographed piece during a wedding (besides the bride of course) so it is important to find new ways to capture it. The Groom holding this white bouquet has a nice contrast against his black jacket and it also works well in showing the way that his boutonniere matches with the brides bouquet. Alli and Greg had their bridal party wear or hold Mango Callas. The bouquets, were simple and elegant, and really brought in Alli’s pallet to her ceremony and pictures.
The arrangement that we created for the guest book table in the entry hall at Casa Real were probably some of our favorite, they had a very modern edge to then. Sleek and sophisticated. We used orange tulips, callas, and dahlias. The larger of the two leaned to one side, while the shorter arrangement was very symmetrical, clean, and pulled together. With the curly willow behind it all, there was a lot of motion to the arrangement, yet it was put together and had a clean feel to it. With the size of it, and the candles surrounding it, it was quite a statement piece to create the feel that Alli and Greg were looking for when their guests first entered their venue.
Alli and Greg did what many of our brides and grooms do at Casa Real, they decided to have both tall centerpieces and low centerpieces. Full of shades of orange, the tall centerpieces doubled as arrangements for the ceremony. By placing the arrangements on top of the Pleasanton Rental iron stands, the arrangements looked completely new when they were then brought into the Grand Salon and placed on large cylinders. Alli and Greg also chose to have Fantasy Sound do pin spots on the tables with tall centerpieces. The Grand Salon has such high ceilings, and such a large feel to it, that the lighting really helps to define the space. They also had Amber up-lighting done around the room, which gives the expansive space a warm intimate feeling. Our favorite krinkle pewter linens from Napa Valley Linens is a perfect back drop for the shades of tangerines.
Congratulations Alli and Greg, thank you for allowing us to be such an integral part of your special day.
