The pictures from Eric James Photography do all the talking from this gorgeous wedding at Saratoga Springs, but we'll do our best! When you have outdoor scenery like this - all you need to do is add some hints of color that are full of texture! We brought in some subtle blush pinks and cranberries for a look that fit well in the natural surroundings, but by keeping things clean and controlled - we were able to add a touch of formality to the outdoor surroundings.
Textures were especially important for this wedding so that the flowers could standout against their backdrop! We showcased this with the bride's bouquet using blush peonies, blush stock and blush garden roses with tucked in white sweetpeas in clusters. The look was bridal and girly - perfect for our bride's dress! Her girls' bouquets were more white with white peonies, white stock and blush pink garden roses - and the guys looked quite dapper coordinating with the girls' blush dresses.
The ceremony setting didn't need much in terms of flowers, so we just added a hint of sweetness with pomanders down the aisle - the perfect, simple touch this space needed. With the long, connecting dark tables for the reception - we wanted to keep everything low with pops of colors against the gold accents. We love how these arrangements turned out against the dark wood!
Congratulations to our gorgeous couple!
