It's a beautiful thing when amazing vendors come together! We couldn’t have been more fortunate to work with Kristen at Sugar Rush Events and Sara at Onelove Photographyfor Lauren and Riley’s stunning backyard wedding at Lauren’s family home – and we weren’t the only ones that thought it was drop dead gorgeous! Style Me Pretty thought so too and featured us on their front page here. We’re so humbled to be acknowledged by such a recognized and respected event site, so thank you Kristen, Sara and Style Me Pretty! Now, a little bit on the flowers we did for Lauren and Riley’s big day! Before we get to Lauren’s bouquet lets just talk about her dress for one second…..WOW! You can find all the extra details about the wedding on the Style Me Pretty post!
Her bouquet was organic, not too tight and full of greens and whites using peonies, hydrangea, sweetpeas, roses, lisi, stock, snow balls, dusty miller, veronica seeded eucalyptus, and queen anne’s lace – all finished off with a lace handkerchief. The bridesmaid’s bouquets were a smaller version of the bride’s but with lavender sweetpeas, and wrapped in a dusty lavender chiffon ribbon.
Lauren and Riley’s altar set-up was one of my absolute favorites! The chandelier hanging with airy-white-goodness all around – all tied together with an organic arrangement using the bridal flowers…no words! Just gorgeous! The shepherds hooks wrapped in smilax used a hanging mason jar, also with bridal flowers and subtle pops of lavender. These were re-used for the cocktail hour as well!
The centerpieces had lots of texture and levels – they alternated between long wooden boxes and footed dishes using bridal flowers and other seasonal types such as tulips, green amaranthis and snow berries. The combination of wood and lace with these centerpieces created a super cozy and comfortable atmosphere for their guests!
Lauren and Riley’s wedding couldn’t have been more picturesque for a backyard wedding, or more perfect for them! Their wedding was spot-on for them as a couple – we absolutely loved working with them and wish them both the absolute best!
