A Mince of Mint

At the Jefferson Mansion in Bencia, CA was a mint and blush wedding. The bride selected white and blush pink bouquets. The bridal bouquet was hand tied with white tea roses, white freesia, sophie roses, pink majolica, white lisi, and white roses. Her bridesmaid's bouquets were hand tied with green chiffon ribbon and matching flowers. The groom wore a white spray rose boutonniere, while his groomsmen wore blush pink rose boutonnieres.

At the wedding ceremony, the aisle was decorated with pink and white rose petals. Along the aisle chairs were hanging jars with pink roses, white, and green seasonal flowers. These jars would later be repurposed for decoration on the cocktail tables. The bride also added a few additional touches, like name tags to reserve the seating upfront for special guests and family members. However the most stunning floral design for this ceremony was hands down the alter. This six foot tall lush floral arrangement was created by white hydrangeas, a variety of white and pink spray roses to add color, and seasonal greens.

The wedding reception had two different table centerpieces, one was a tall hour glass vase with a rounded texture. The arrangement included white and blush pinks that would continue the wedding flower selection with a few darker pink roses for more pop. On other tables were low lush arrangements that matched the tall centerpieces but sat in a footed glass dish. The couple were seated at their sweetheart table with a long low floral arrangement that matched the centerpieces on guests tables but added long draping greenery and white hydrangeas. At the cake table sat a pedestal that lifted the cake off the table. The pedestal was surrounded by a circular arrangement that also matched the white and blush pink arrangements throughout the wedding, white hydrangeas, a variety of pink roses, and seasonal greens.
