An Ombre Occasion

We joined forces with Sugar Rush Events for this unique Napa wedding and we absolutely loved every inch of it! Ombre floral arrangements on striped linens? Custom pink striped up lighting? Yes, please! On top of all the fun details of this wedding, our bride Jordan was one of the sweetest we’ve had a chance to work with!  She was truly a joy and we’re so happy we had a part in her special day!

The bridesmaids dresses really added a dramatic pop of color, so we kept Jordan’s bouquet colors to whites and blushes using peonies, stock, lisi, sweetpeas and garden roses with subtle accents of greens. We finished off her bouquet with her grandmother’s lace, which added a very sweet touch.  Her dress had some gorgeous detailing, so by keeping the colors of her bouquet more subtle the dress was still able to have its moment to shine!

For the bridesmaids bouquets we went with complimentary shades of pink that really created a gorgeous color palette without going overboard. Using light pinks and fuchsia, we used peonies, stock, sweetpeas and garden roses to round out the girls’ bouquets while letting the bride shine on her big day! We also loved the boutonnieres for the groom and groomsmen – simple but still made a statement with tea roses, dusty miller and silver berries. The groom, Sean, had white to match his bride and the groomsmen’s used fuchsia roses.

How cute were their flower girl and ring bearer? The flower girl had a small white nosegay to match the bride’s with a princess crown wrapped in ribbon. Too cute for words!

Now to one of our favorite aspects of this wedding…the ombre aisle! It turned out jaw-droppingly gorgeous with thick blush pink petals fading into fuchsia then burgundy. Truly unique and it couldn’t have looked any better with the gorgeous scenery for the ceremony!

The unique touches didn’t stop there – the reception centerpieces were set in a black footed dish with an ombre arrangement using the bridal flowers and other seasonal types going from white, to light pink, to fuchsia. They were set on square tables draped in black and white striped linen; all tied together with the black chiavari chairs. Their cake also had a gorgeous arrangement of ombre flowers, with custom pink-striped backlighting! The room really came together into one jaw-dropping, eye-catching space! Big thanks to One Love Photography for the photos!

Thank you Sugar Rush Events and thank you Jordan for giving us the opportunity to work on such a unique and special day!
