The Flower House had the pleasure of working on some gorgeous traditional arrangements for a wedding reception this past weekend at Round Hill Country Club. Kristen Jensen from Sugar Rush Events coordinated this vintage yet modern wedding reception with the lush drippy english garden style arrangements.
Drippy and romantic describe these arrangements perfectly. White hydrangea and peonies are accented by pink roses and cascading ivy. The white orchids and green amaranthis add great drama to the arrangement. The arrangement flows with differing heights of the greens and orchids, very reminiscent of an English garden. The smaller arrangements look great in contrast to the dark tablecloths. Seeded eucalyptus and ivy drip down the sides and pink and white roses pop from the middle. White lisianthus also give a little bit of height to the arrangement.
Now, for the gorgeous fireplace. A beautiful backdrop to the whole room and the bride and groom. Falling ivy and green amaranthis are surrounded by white candles and pink and white roses. The orchids frame the green as they drip down the fireplace. White hydrangea puff up by the candles for a very full and lush mantle. Lush and full could also describe the framed cake table. Encircled with green and pinks and whites. I love the pink uplights.
The cute cocktail arrangements are the definition of drama along with the entry table arrangement. Dark colors are showcased against the dark tablecloths with pops of burgundy orchids. The black feathers pop up in between black calla lillies. A perfect evening cocktail arrangement. The entry table arrangement shows all different heights and shapes with curly willow on the sides.
Overall, a contrast of pink and white spring colored arrangements with dramatic dark burgundy and black arrangements that all flows together perfectly.
