Erin and Kris travelled all the way from Ohio for this perfect destination Napa Valley wedding. Bringing most of their close friends and family with them, it was a beautiful intimate time for all who attended. As we began to create the centerpieces and bouquets for this wedding, we were in awe with the beauty already. When they were placed, we had even blown our selves away. Working with Kristen from Sugar Rush events was an absolute pleasure. Destination weddings can easily be difficult, but with great planners like her there was never a problem.
Erin’s bouquet showcased the feeling she wanted at her rustic winery wedding, soft romance while bringing in lots of deep colors. Her bouquet was kept very soft and round while bringing in texture with the types of flowers that were used. Green Hydrangea, burgundy Dahlias, chocolate Cosmos, peonies, sweet peas, roses, and vanda orchids combined to make the perfect bouquet which lead to a happy bride.
The centerpieces, along with the wedding design by Kristen, are really what gave the wow-factor to this special day. Kristen created a detailed, rustic, romantic setting with a long King’s table for all the wedding guests to enjoy their meal at. Every little detail was perfect about the table setting, including the alternating colored pillows on each chair that matched with the colors of the centerpieces. The pipe and drape done in the cellar by Hartmann Studios which was accented by the GoBo’s and lighting by Impact Lighting and Production also added to the interest around the room and helped to create the special space for Erin and Kris.
The centerpieces were created in Mahogany wood boxes with intermingling groups of flowers, which matched with Erin’s bouquet. The boxes were lined up along the 24 foot king’s table with 18 feet of beautiful flowers. Texture was brought in again with flowers such as dahlias, roses, artichokes, and chocolate cosmos. While keeping the flowers in color groups but making sure that they were not isolated from each other we were able to highlight each special color such as Mocha, Eggplant, Sage Green, Ivory, and Burgundy as well as allowing their to be focus on each special type of flower.
We love doing destination weddings; there is always something so special about them. The bride and groom are able to pick a special place and create an intimate setting with the people who mean the most to them. We enjoyed every second of this wedding. Congratulations once again, Erin and Kris!
